Whoa. Just found one like it on ebay for $13k. That's a lot of e28's

I thought you guys might get a kick out of some of these photos.

I would be interested in an old Beemer too...circa late 80s GS bike...before
the gas tank became HUGE (Paris-Dakkar style) :D
