Euro 535i LS Turbo Build Thread - 7/10/19 Dyno update
Few more pictures of requirements to install the engine without compromise. It sits very low.
Lowered sway bar mount.
Repositioned control arm reinforcement bar. It had to move forward to clear the bell housing.
And one of the super simple charge piping. It consists of a silicon 45 off of the turbo to this aluminum elbow to another 45 silicone connector to the intercooler. Total length about 2 feet.

Had to move the battery to the trunk to make room for the coils, coolant overflow bottle and crankcase catch can. Got the coils installed. Will order the ignition wires next week.
Installed the fpr and fuel lines.
Installed the PS cooler under the battery tray.
And installed the distribution block and all the low pressure power steering lines.

I predict that Corvettes will be letting guys go around them to avoid lining up next to you. Those Corvette guys try to keep the legend alive.
I predict 12.0s at a buck 22 .
Isn't that what all Todd's BMW projects run?
Paul
Getting and maintaining traction without tearing the rear subframe off the car has traditionally been Todd's biggest barrier to really fast ETs. He's nearly always had the power to be quicker than his ETs showed, I don't see how a massive upgrade in power will help in that regard but time will tell.Duke wrote:Nope - low 11s all day long. If it stays hooked, 10s.
I look forward to seeing him try.
