Getting and maintaining traction without tearing the rear subframe off the car has traditionally been Todd's biggest barrier to really fast ETs. He's nearly always had the power to be quicker than his ETs showed, I don't see how a massive upgrade in power will help in that regard but time will tell.
I look forward to seeing him try.

Jeremy,
I have never actually had any rear subframe or diff issues. My downfall has always been the clutch or tranny or just getting all right at one time.
My best 60ft in the e34 was 1.58 but that car only had 360rwhp. My best 60ft in the e28 was with 1.61 with the 4hp22 and only 320rwhp.
Bigger HP always finds me torching the clutches as I try to put the power down.
My current clutch is a monster and will not be a problem. My mph goal for this setup is 130. Any decent 60ft will result in a good ET. No more 12.0000s for me.

No one I know has run such consistent 12.0 and 12. teen passes with so many different cars. Maybe this time the gremlins will give Todd a break and allow him that ever elusive 11.99 pass.

It's not really gremlins. It's just a learning process. It's hard to achieve those goals with limited passes per year. It's not like building a 350hp SBC with a stout tranny, trans brake and 411s and going 11.99 at 103mph.
This thing looks great in person. The attention to detail is really obvious when seen in the metal. This isn't some slapped together hack job. I can't wait to see it on the street!
Getting close. I spent some time sorting out my POS 82 year old garage to make it tolerable. Installing a wood burning stove this weekend. Sweeney coming down early next week for a day of wrenching. Have almost every part needed for completion.
Current list
Fuel System
Install pressure transducer for MS
Cooling System
Install heater hoses for cabin heat
Clutch
Reinstall Clutch Master Cyl
Power Steering
High Pressure Lines
Wiring Harness
Install lc1
Male plug for fan and relay setup and PWM Module
Install engine harness
Spent about 3hrs in the garage. Tidied up the trunk. Got the PS lines mocked up. Will drop them off on Monday. Started securing lines. Gave some thought to the heater coolant lines and found a location for the heater control valve.
Finally had the PS hoses made and got them installed. Had the wheels balanced after swapping the centers from style 19 to style 5. Hoping to install the heater control valve and hoses this week. The ignition wires are enroute as well. Slow as she goes.
More progress. Installed SS brake lines and filled the hydraulic system. Still need to bleed the brakes and clutch slave. Installed the heater control valve and hoses. Started on the ignition wires. Hope to have them installed tomorrow.
More progress this evening. Both brakes and clutch hydraulic systems bled. Ignition wires run and fixed in place. Last few things delivered from McMasterCarr today. Down to wiring. Working on the cable to the starter and alt this weekend. Will then start on the MS wiring harness.
