Uhhmmm... just replace the wheels with newer-model 5-series wheels. There are literally tons of posts about wheel options. I purchased a set of 17" wheels and tires for my 535i for less than $700 last year. Look into it.

I agree...consider getting some 7.5x16 wheels or even 15s...you'll be much happier with the performace of tires available to you and the prices as well. However, if you decide you want to keep the TRX tires / metric wheels. I have SIX with very good rubber that can be YOURS cheap. Hey, maybe we can even work out a trade for parts. I'm just down I-75 across the border in Florida...let me know.
