Interesting, what kind of gains can be had by swapping the M5 intake over to an M30? Has anyone done this?

Gorgeous M535i for sure. [s]But IMHO, the car looked just right when he bought it (see below)...prior to the BLING wheels...[/s]

Those deep dish BBS wheels really set it off...:

The owner's previous M535i mit BLINGy wheelz:

On another note...weren't there TWO GREEN e12 M535i at 5erFest 2005? I remember one was for sale by our good friend Lee Cornett in MS and another one was out on the autoX circuit turning good times with some tiny track wheels installed. Who's car was that anway? :?

The owner says the car with the "blingy" wheels is his old Diamondschwartz M535. The green car is his current steed.

Skeen,
Thank you for pointing out the my oversight. I'm actually quite relieved that he left the car "as is". His previous car looked GREAT too except for those "ricer wheelz" ;) Ahh but this is only one enthusiast's opinion....each to his/her own. I'll make a change to my post above...
Cheers,
Tim

The Green M535i at the AutoCross was Rob Hall. His was is Green on Green. The Wheels were some 14in Alpinas with slicks, he runs 16x8 BBSs on the street.

eta28 post a few more pics of your car if you could. I would like to see more inside pics and a few outer pics also.
We see so little green cars in the states.

I think those wheels are ronals.....I think BNC would know best as if I recall correctly, they are his favorites. I think they are next to impossible to find....and the ones on german ebay go for 1k+++ If you want really wide wheels with a nice lip.....you could get some BBS RS wheels, like what I have on my car, and widen them since they have removable lips. Once I get some other wheels and save some extra money, I will be widening my wheels 1.5" all around so I will have 16x9 & 10's with a nice wide lip. There is a company called Kodiak Motorsports who makes shells that fit BBS wheels. And they will fit....even if I have to have my fenders custom flared by a body shop!

Here is a pic of a 4" lip by these guys.

Anyway, I am bored this morning, hence the longer post. lol.

He lists the wheels as BBS,
in some pics they look like my Remotecs that I am so fond of,
but in other pics they look like the BBS RZ's that I had put on my wifes' E34...
if they are BBS, they would be the older RZ's that are very hard to find, but they do fit an e28 even with the et13/15 offest...very nice wheels, loved them on the E34....
very nice car, and those wheels are awesome...
