Well, I decided to do a pin stripe on my car. I've never done one before so I just kind of DID it. Anyway, reasonably happy with the initial result, will flesh out the design this weekend maybe.

nicely done... i wonder what a design like that... only filled in would look like.. might be pretty sweet... racing stripes on a 5er... i'd do it if i knew i could make it look nice... racing stripes, an m-tech kit to go on my euro bumpers, and lowering sprigs with some nice rake... that would be the dream...

Thanks. I was reasonably pleased with my first result. As for "Stripes" well, I'm too old. Stripes would look gay. These aren't stripes but Graphical Elements that Extend and Describe Major Design Elements. I just made that up.

Never seen anything like this on an e28 but it doesn't look bad. Just don't go cuttin' any holes in the sheet metal for "hood scoops" and it'll help to minimize the early 70s Pontiac GTO bonnet similarities ;) Kudos for taking a risk... :p
