The 'honey-do' list that consumes time available for manly pastimes. How are we to keep the e28 fully functional while attending PTA, painting a bathroom and weeding the garden. Priorities :argue:

Her: "You never really tell me what's going with you."

Next day on the phone, I start telling her about something that happened that day that had really upset me. She cuts me off 2 sentences in so she can spend the next 45 minutes telling me all about the amazingness of HER day.

Day after that she says: "You don't communicate very well. You never TALK to me!"

Things deteriorated pretty rapidly from there. But alas, I have no letters and no poetry to share.

That IS the hardest part. LISTENING. Truth here. Now.
Want to bag German models in Miami? Just LISTEN to them. Stop talking about yourselves. You don't speak GERMAN? She doesn't care either. She has someone who listens. It's kinda a one-way-street to nesting your face in knockers sometimes

I hate when a woman complains to me about a problem or situation, and when I offer what I would do to correct the situation, the response is "why do you have to try to fix it? Why can't you just listen?"

... If you don't want help fixing it, why are you complaining to me about it? I don't complain to you about my leaky timing chain tensioner.

I listen just fine, typically. Did you miss the part about hearing about her day for the next 45 minutes after she cut me off? She had a habit of cutting me off mid-sentence, going on a long tangent about something, and then complaining that I never talked to her. It wasn't a one time incident.

Tammer - try this one if you're ever itching for a slap in the face. Any time I complained about something to this one girl, her response would be: "Well, what're you going to DO about it?" I have the distinct feeling that if I had turned that around on her after listening to her complain I might not be here today.

It's not entirely involuntary. While I'm no "ladies man" by any stretch, I've passed on the opportunities that have come my way.

THIS, tries my soul to no end. :x If it is big enough problem to spend time talking about it, why would you not want to fix it? But no, women want to spend hours just talking about things that are wrong.

Then there is the lateral conversation thing: Where they will instantaneously zoom off to another, totally unrelated, subject as if there was never a change and continue talking. They then get upset with me when I have no clue what they are talking about. Listening to two or three women chatting is almost Greek to me due to the lateral conversation.

Then they wonder why I have nothing to say. :dunno:

All I want is a woman who can afford her own coke habit. Is that too much to ask for?

Speaking of getting cheesed... My son has some graduation goings-on today, including an open house at the school. This morning the wife & I agreed that we would meet out at the school (it's about 5 minutes from work, 15 from home) and she would call me before they left. She called me, said they were about to leave, so I waited about 15 minutes & went over, expecting to see them pull in as I did. Nada. Wait 5 minutes, nada. Call her cell phone, and she's still at home. Kid decided he needed to clean up, and she didn't bother to tell me of the change in plans, and it'll be a bit before they leave. Great. Holding back severely, I ask her nicely to call me when they're leaving...

So I drive back to work, get busy on something, and get a text from her a few minutes later that they've arrived at the school. Really? Some days.... (I don't complain, because then I'd hear how difficult I am to live with.)

Make enough and she will just go through pool boys like popcorn. I can have a neglected woman splayed out like a porn star within 48hrs. There's a reason they joke about the pool boy.
