Have you tried to change/check the 2 relays on the side of the fuse box? One of them is for the fuelpump and the other one is for Ecu

If i recal correctly the one for the ecu is the front one on the side, with the straight thing on top, it has 5 legs in the socket
If that one has a fault the car wont run or start, had problems with my own and 2 of my fathers e23

You might ask a Beamter to temporarily move your thread to Tech Talk.

Swapping the main relay or even jumpering it is an easy enough diagnostic procedure.
I carry spares in my car, but...

I use ATF oil. But my car is euro.

Your car positiv needs BBS RS wheels badly, I think. ;)
