Works great in the Tiger.
Car has factory cruise. Just need to relocate the motor and adapt the cable to the LS TB.

9.5psi in 3rd gear =

I need to lower the boost. Running out of injector and traction issues arise but holy hell that was fun.

7/8psi is the sweet spot for traction.

Is this off just the spring?

With MS you can have rock solid boost control that
always stays on target.

about 60bux all hooked up.
I have it on my ms2. Best mod so far.

Yep just off the spring. I don't have the self control to have electronic boost control.

Sounds all good! Relly take it to the strip!

What numbers did you get @ the crank? Or did I read over it?

Todd,

Perhaps I missed the details located somewhere in the thread, but I'd like to run a set of 245/40/17 on all four corners on a 17x8 et20. I didn't think they'd fit up front. Are you running spacers to fit, or are you running a narrow 245?

Thanks.

No spacers. Michelin Pilot Sports. Very very close to strut housing in front. Plenty of room in the rear after aggressively rolling the fenders. Perfect all around combination IMHO.

It's a street car. Will be driving to Canada and WI soon and every day thereafter. Have slicks for the dragstrip.

I drive everywhere on DOT-R tires. My trip to Ted Fest was on DOT-R tires. Except for the winter, they are no issue. That is, if you want traction.

Butt Dyno says about 600HP. No engine dyno or chassis dyno results yet.

There's quite a bit of power that prowls up and down that street and stops in that spot. Trust me.

Update

Drove 400 miles down to visit Peter at PF Tuning. 27mpg on the way down. We have been working on a bunch of small tuning issues and have made significant progress on sorting it out.

Today we put the car on the dyno. I was hoping to run 7.5psi but due the warmer temps (82F) and major heatsoak on the dyno and purely mechanical wastegate control the car made only 5.8 to 6.1psi.

What looks like a very slow climb to peak boost is by design (1.15AR Exhaust housing) and is what makes the car so drivable on the street.

I cannot wait to get it back up north and drive it on a cool night when it is making ~7.5psi and significantly cooler intake temps.

We also weighed the car on corner weight scales in full street trim with 1/2 tank. 3278lbs and 54.7/45.3 front/rear. Cross weights without driver are 50.2/49.8

Thanks for coming down, Todd. And braving a ride with me Sunday in the DSP car!

Todd's E28 is pretty quick; mainly because the curve is so smooth, it just hooks up. Amazing build; really impressive in person.

Pretty awesome! Bummer about the boost not quite getting where you wanted it. Can't wait to see the first trip down the strip with this thing. Should be interesting

Made it back home. 26.84mpg on the return trip. I was so proud of myself for not changing the wastegate spring at the dyno and now I regret it! :x

Time to hook up the boost control.

That is great Todd.

You two do excellent work and the result is very professional looking! The car looks and sounds great. That dyno curve is perfect for a street car. How many RPM do you turn at 70 when cruising?

Nice fuel mileage for a supercar too.

Bumped the boost to 7-7.5psi. I am tempted to bump it to 8-8.5psi. :haul:

It's still not a tire spinner with good road temps and warm tires.
