The Thread of Randomness. . .
Last day of work for me I'm looking forward to a nice little holiday time off. I've got way too much to do today though which I'm still not motivated enough yet to go down to the lab and get finished. The weather here has been great though, in the high 70s. It's perfect weather for pulling an oil pan off of an e39...

I blame this place for the following:
1. At one point I was normal and liked to buy cars that just worked all the time. Now I seek out cars that I look forward to taking apart.
2. I can now open a new Bentley Service Manual and understand nearly all of it without referencing the Internet. For any BMW.
3. I'm still screwed when I have to work on Amy's Toyota.
It's all your fault. All of you!!!
Merry Christmas to all... or Happy Holidays.

Nahhhh, just had an opportunity when I helped out a guy find some for a conversion. I had two people respond to a parts wanted post on a RX7 forum and decided to buy the second set which was local. They are very hard to find now and used for a conversion on the rear of a Tiger. Asked triple of what I paid and sold them within a hour. Was still a bargain for the buyer.rmiddendorf wrote:Is there a Parts Express coming over from Korea? That last line begs to question the legitimacy of using the term 'supermodel.' I'll still take the text though.oldskool wrote:Dowtown at dinner tonight seated across from no less than 5 supermodels.
I was going nuts trying to take pics for BrianinTN and MikeOC. Sometimes for Cactus and Rodney. Sherman too. Damn perverts.
Got some good shots when supermodel #1 bit into her Hoagie.
Will post when sober.
Miss you too. Of course, you're staying in pretty good contact so I have to remember that you aren't in Yuma. Haha.
Are there still people looking for these?Duke wrote:Nahhhh, just had an opportunity when I helped out a guy find some for a conversion. January 10 is kinda a big anniversary around here. We get lots of deliveries and flowers.
I was home for the flowers when a large, dapper Marcellus Wallace looking dude came to the door. I don't answer the door, but wifey shrieked when she saw the Band-Aid on the back of his neck as he walked away. Well done Flower Man, . . . well done.
