e28here
Ok, so, only e28's???? I'd love to see some variants of the m30 irregardless of nameplate data. I am just breaking into this FI arena but would love to hear some engine management discussion from different platforms. Should we start another thread. Some would like to believe that only e28'ers are on here, but they would be sorely mistaken. There is not a true e24'er around, who doesn't lurk here 24/7! I have gained so much knowledge from this incredible site.

If you want EMS discussion you probably need to open another thread. However it seems that this board members use MS and have a lot of experience in MS.
I did two M30 setups, one with Haltech E11V2 and another one with DTA P8 Pro EMS. Both wasted spark and included building custom wiring harness.
So I can share some experience with these EMS.
Re: e28here
Ok, I added e24s and e23s. PM me details. Factory 745i excluded.mpowertech wrote:Ok, so, only e28's???? I'd love to see some variants of the m30 irregardless of nameplate data. 87 535i with K27 turbo
1987 E28 535i with 745 K27 turbo and 745 exhaust manifold with stock blow off valve, custom aluminum intercooler and piping, custom CSL shape aluminum intake manifold, Link Atom ECU, VAC head, Ireland Engineering forged pistons, coated rod bearings, HD double valve springs, metal head gasket, custom stainless 3" exhaust system. This conversion was worked on during the past five years and the engine dynoed at 330HP with modest boost and more is anticipated with higher boost. Suspension and brakes are M5 quality. The car is probably close to an E28 Alpina B7 for 1/4 the cost.

Re: Turbo e28/e24/e23 database
Im late to the party and havent been on the boards for a while, but....
1983 533i custom turbo setup, garrett gt3571 ms2x air intercooler 18x12x3 60lbs injectors 3"exhaust
1987 325is m30b32 swap, O-ringed, head studs, bullseye performance borg warner s366 turbo, MS3X air intercooled 80lbs injectors 4" exhaust, 625cc W/M
theres way more to list for both but you get the idea.
the 5 series runs 6.5psi boost it was running more but clutch slip and me being a cheap as didnt wanna change it, so boost went down.
The 3 series is running 14psi right now but is built for 28psi last tranny i melted doing a pull(shitty original tranny to be honest though, 260/5 out of 533i donor car with 48*,*** something kms) hoping for over 600whp
