Thank you for doing this!Justin_FL wrote:External links should be underlined, have an icon, and open in a new window now. I found a fairly elegant mod that doesn't change the SQL tables.
I don't want to complain, but the font is impossibly small even after increasing the size (it is smaller then all other windows system fonts and footnote page fonts), and hard to read the font color on the dark background. I too am spending far less time reading and contributing... I vote this change in layout and coloring of the forum as a big thumbs down, and seem to have noticed that this forum has become less active over the last two weeks, likely for similar reasons.
Any way we can improve the readability of posts (it used to be much better...)
I think your computer must be broken.HealeyBN7 wrote:I don't want to complain, but the font is impossibly small even after increasing the size (it is smaller then all other windows system fonts and footnote page fonts), and hard to read the font color on the dark background. Try going to tools/options/content and choose a minimum font size. I have a minimum font size of 12 and the site displays nicely.HealeyBN7 wrote: I am using Firefox 30.0 and Windows 8.1. I can toggle the font size using the "^A^" feature on the top right of the web page but that probably changes the font from 3 or 4 point to 6 point at best. While typing in this white background text box the font is bigger (6 point), but once it is displayed on the forum it shrinks to 4 point.
Wonderful!!!! My new favorite feature was right under my nose. Firefox allows me to scale just the text using the method you pointed out above and it even seems to save the settings. Thanks Jeremy, now I can finish my S38 build .Jeremy wrote:Honestly, that looks normal to me. What size and resolution is your monitor?
Hold down CTRL and move your scroll forward and back. Down will scale the website smaller, up will scale it larger. This is a feature built into at least FireFox and Chrome, not sure about IE.
