narrower body injectors with fuel rail compatability

Post by charofire »

Had my injectors flow tested recently. 2 were shot. I'm going to get a new set. I'm running a stock k27 with a half bar of boost, megasquirted. I want to purchase some 30lb injectors again - I am pretty sure I can use mustang ev1 style hi imp injectors. Do the next gen body design that are more narrow also work like shown in this link? My concern is if buying the incorrect injector, the fuel rail would not be easily bolt back into place. Thanks

I don't know about those injectors sorry, but I would get bigger ones since your starting over. I got a set of 55# low z injectors from TCD. They were fatter than stock so I had to grind a little on the manifold. They've worked great.

those should be the correct injectors. I am using the seimens deka injectors and they have the same body style. Any long EV1 high impedance mustang injector will work
