How significant will the cooling power change with this setup?
cooling power

Hole in the hood for WG? No high beams?

The percentage of the radiator being blocked by the intercooler. I know that air will pass thru the intercooler and then thru the radiator, but if the intercooler is heat soaked, what will that do for cooling.T_C_D wrote:Hole in the hood for WG? No high beams?

Unless your roadracing or hiway blasting most boost events are short lived. I've datalogged mine with a small 745 a/a in the front corner and I'm usually through boosting and coasting down before the air temps peak and then quickly drop. You've got enough cooling for sure. I would only be concerned if you'll have enough good airflow for the radiator.
looks like fun!

You're fine. Is the A/C gone for good?

Re: cooling power
I've got a similar setup, my intercooler is smaller and thinner tough.
Havn't got any problems with coolant temperature, however i do have some problems with the intercooler which is beeing warmed from the radiator in slow traffic.. IAT's can become extremly high in that kind of situations and i really need to give the intercooler some time to cool down again before i hit the gas if the traffic jam is over. Not really a big issue because the intercooler will cool down pretty quick, but certainly something to keep in mind. Can also occur when your driving around small blocks quite hard for example with friends/passengers and then stand still for some time. Intercooler will heatsoak in that situation also. (As your intake manifold also will)
