I bought some VDO gooahjez from Blackhella, and although it took a while ( from EU) and the package seemed worn on the outside, the contents were carefully packaged and better than described. Thank you!

I sent him money for parts via Paypal on May 7th. Told me parts where packed and ready to ship on that same day. But I have not received anything, nor have I heard back from him after I inquired about the shipment two days ago. Anybody know him? Is he perhaps not at home/on the road? Anybody got a word on him? It seems he has sold parts to people in the past checking his previous posts but I'm not sure.
I bought some brake parts from him a week or two ago. Shipped to me in about 4 days. The box they were packed in was a little tight and FedEx was a little rough, so there was some minor damage, but given the great deal he gave me on the parts, I wasn't too concerned--they still worked fine. Nice guy and I'd do a transaction with him again.

Yeah, he offered the parts I needed at a good price as well. I still have not heard from him yet. He fell silent after I sent him the money which is not a good sign in my view. I've tried to email and sent him PM's. Still nothing. Still waiting on the parts. So, unless he fell ill, or life took a wrong turn for him, or he took a trip to the Bahama's on a dingy with no internet for weeks, I think I got scammed. I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt, which is why I haven't taken any action via Paypal about this yet. Guess I'll continue to wait...

*Edit - Got an email this morning from 2many6es, he sent me a picture of the receipt with the tracking number. Expected to arrive June 4th. Almost a month later from when I payed but its better than never at all. My apologies for calling you out as a scammer. Guess I jumped the gun on that one. I am glad I was wrong about this. Scammers just discourage people from buying from others and having this forum as a marketplace is a great thing to have but only if it is not abused!

Twice now have bought from dsmith and he has been very quick to ship and keeps you informed every step of the way. Knowledgeable about the parts he does and does not have and very reasonable on pricing. Parts came quickly and well packaged. Thanks for being a great seller!

Reviews for a few mye28ers.

First, Blueshadow: got me a brake caliper part within ~5 hours of my post going up. I had my car back on the road the very next day. Thank you! Awesome cars too.

Philo: related to my brake caliper need, Philo offered up a set of rebuilt M5 front calipers even though I wasn't looking for them. No way I could pass them up. Got around to installing them and it's just incredible. Paired it up with E32 rears, this is the best braking I've ever experienced in a car (my experience is rather limited). The calipers are beautiful, refurbished by centric, and they arrived very quickly and at a great price. Now I need more power to match the upgraded brakes and suspension... Philo was also able to answer a few of my noob questions about the parts, much appreciated.

Blackhella: I purchased a set of euro lights from him, with his optional refinishing service. Wow! They look absolutely incredible. I am thrilled with the lights, but have not yet got around to installing them. He was extremely helpful and communicative, and the packaging job was the best I've ever seen on anything I've ever bought. He constantly provided status updates and pictures of his progress. Very fast service too, considering they were coming all the way from Europe, only about 3 weeks from purchase, to refinishing, and delivery at my door. Really great work and value. Would buy from him again. Also got the crosshairs, they look pretty dang cool. Looking forward to getting these installed.

TCD: I blew up a rocker arm on my head about a month ago. Put up a WTB ad, within ~1 hour TCD replied that he had a great head for sale. 3 days later, I've got a very nice used and rebuilt head sitting in my living room. 10 days later, I've completed my first head swap and the car started on the first try! It's running better than ever before. Great price on the head, and it was packaged very well.

Thanks to all the great mye28ers. Look forward to buying from you all again in the future.

update: contact was made, working things out.
Bad review for TurboE28

june 07 made payment for black rear headrests, never got tracking #
2 weeks later start wondering why I'm not getting them yet. sent him txt to cell couple times in a few days, no response. Paypal will do the job recovering funds.

We live in amazing times when you can receive parts from Australia in 4 days and it takes week+ or never from US sellers.

That doesn't seem like a reasonable response on your part.

As stated by Vilkas, things are being worked out.

Had a death in the family was out of the country. Vilkas isn't the only sale or transaction pending money. I have offered everyone a refund and still make good shipping the items at no cost regardless of size or price. I included my cell number, personal email, in all my transactions. Sorry to inconvenience anyone.

Still fairly new to the forums and so far I have had great experiences as a buyer with spen and TCD. Great communication and really good shipping times north of the border. I look forward to dealing with them again when and if the opportunities comes up again in the future!

TurboE28 didn't do what he promised.
Tried to contact him via emai, txt and PM, no response, messages been read. Asked for refund but no response. Paypal claim is in process. Bad bad very bad experience.
If he was really legit guy, he should've offer me refund in first two weeks or at least let me know that things delayed.
