LAZY Part-out begins
Alright guys LAZY E28 PART OUT begins soon.
(Disclaimer: I work a full time job alone with a part time one, so I may not have the time to pull your wanted part immediately.)
Bought a parts car because there are a few things my current project from the donor.
Feel free to start requesting.
1986 535i, 160k mileage, manual 5 speed trans, all parts are as seen, feel free to request any photos.
Location is in Indianapolis, local pick up is always preferred, any larger parts (if i'm willing to pull) you will need to arrange shipping, or at least suggest a way.
EDIT: My paypal email is coleton.coronado@gmail.com

Re: LAZY Part-out begins
Set aside the oil radiator/cooler for me, no rush.
Re: LAZY Part-out begins
I need the o2 sensor, working or not. You can even cut it just above the sensor, I really only need the wire and harness. Usps bubble envelope is cheap/easy for you.

Re: LAZY Part-out begins
I'd like that rear lower seat cushion, shipping via greyhound is really easy, if there's a station near you.
No rush, been looking for one for a while… my rear seat has had a big tear across the center occupant space since the car was 2 weeks old.

Since I love this community, after work today I started taking off some of the easier parts
Rallygofaster was wondering if you were ok with this little bit of wear on this back seat cushion
Rebelxnut don't know if you still want this air intake tube since it has a hold in it.

Re: LAZY Part-out begins
The cushion has a little more wear than I'd like for something we'd have to ship.
On that note, how is the condition of the shift boot? I'd take that off your hands if it is in decent enough shape.

How much you want for the distributor cap and one wire?
Mine has some creepy pale turquoise colored corrosion going on inside the cap under the wire just below the coil wire plug. 3d from bottom.

Re: LAZY Part-out begins
Is this car Arktisblau? If so, is it original paint? I've been looking for a long time for the front drivers side door and gas filler lid in that color to replace the damaged parts on my car. I'm in CA and it would probably be really expensive to ship but worth a shot.

Re: LAZY Part-out begins
yes the color is Arktisbau, looks like the car has been painted in the past because in other areas of the air i can see a more aged blue underneath, door is in pretty good condition, although its not slick paint by any means.edosocho wrote:Is this car Arktisblau? Ok. I'm trying to find parts that are close in condition to the car I have....might be wishful thinking. Thanks for replying!

Re: LAZY Part-out begins
Engine, 5 speed trans, drive shaft, and everything directly related is now out if anyone is in need. I was very content with myself today.
I got the exhaust off today, so i can have you're sensor ready soon. But just to be clear you need the 2 prong plug and wiring up to the sensor?Bcbp14 wrote:

Re: LAZY Part-out begins
Hmm, I think it's a three prong. It connects just aft of the speed and reference sensors near the fire wall. I'll take it though.

Sorry for such a late reply, I'm not sure about any of the electrical since the car has been dead since I got it due to electrical rats nest.ASneakyGoomba wrote:Do you have a working drivers side rear window motor?

Re: LAZY Part-out begins
Updated a list of what is sold.
Also if I haven't gotten back to any of you its either because I'm not sure how to removed said item due to no power (seat items), or i've been busy and haven't got to it (just give me a friendly reminder).

How is the driver's side view mirror motor and housing bits? Is it pretty tight and adjustable? Mine is thrashed.

So...I need just the 2 caps that cover the wiper arm tightening screws. Still have them? I know, probably a strange request. Let me know.

Hello,
I need the two rubber strips at the bottom of the hood liner. The ones that are black and fit somewhat in the inserts on the firewall.
Shipping to Santa Fe NM?
thanks,
Jeff
