Parts were as described and arrived swiftly.

Can't say the same for UK Customs and Excise though, they always find a way to get their hand into your pocket.

wkohler supplied me with a beautiful set of Recaro adapters for my Recaro Trophy project.

Really, I can't describe how impressed I am with the whole transaction. He had the patience of a saint with my multiple questions. We went back and forth for months - not because of delays, but because he offered to bring the adapters to his powdercoater for refinishing. Than he offered to track down the necessary hardware. Just above and beyond stuff that doesn't happen often.

Thank you Chris - can't wait to get this project wrapped up.

Gentlemen, so finally it is done. PayPal sent me an e-mail saying that they will refund my money. I was supposed to get a clean vinyl dash from uberdeus in Canada, but he took the $550 and ran. So, I filed a complaint with PayPal, and they took care of it. The real name of uberdeus is Justin Neigel, and he is in Canada. Do not deal with him.
Oldskool, I take it you are still compiling that list :D

JakeB is solid. But, everyone already knows this. I bought front seats from him last week and they were exactly what he said they would be.

I bought a used heater valve from Blackhella - took a while to arrive, probably due to the holidays, but it was fine and will go in the car in January. No problems, much appreciated.

No matter what this guy says I can admit I took more then an acceptable amount of time to ship the kit but it was still on my car and I gave him the option for a refund. He has my merchandise and I have no money no matter his excuses.

I hope oldskool recruits a retribution gang. They all show up in black m5s and do a proper beat down for dead beats. The missing dash pisses me off even with a refund from PayPal.

Please beware of seller "Overdrive" in Europe/Latvia.

I purchased a set of E34 sport seats from him a while back, June 2015.

I put one seat in about 3 months later after I quickly assembled the seats which were broken down.

While the seats had some issues, namely armrest holes without armrests included and I did not see a repaired seat because I glossed over the photos and they looked "good enough" to me, I did not complain and wrote favorable reviews and suggested another forum member buy from him, because he asked me. I am sympathetic to foreign sellers as they can be very good!

When I put the driver seat in, I tested the functions that require the seat to be in the car. Leg support worked. Recline forward and back function worked well. Seat moved up and down.

Seat did not move forward and back. I looked underneath and the bar was hanging that is "pulled" to relieve both seat tracks so the seat can move.

I thought no big deal, and shelved the seats for another couple months, as I ended up selling my wagon and I removed the seats. I in fact sold my comfort seats as well for $250 locally to offset the $750 I paid for the sport seats from Overdrive/Iveta (his first name).

Then I went to sell the seats, prematurely it turned out. Had a buyer lined up for today (1/6/2016) and last night, I went to fix the forward back movement, which I thought would be an easy fix. I noticed other problems, places where the seat was welded. I managed to partially repair the forward back movement bar, and when I went to test it, the seat up/down movement hinge snapped clean off. I am 5'10'' and about 170 lbs dressed. I am not a huge fat man. I looked at the snapped hinge, and it had been welded (poorly, cold joint, no penetration, etc etc). It was also in an impossible spot more or less. I took photos. I looked at the other seat. FOrward and back didn't work there either and the bar was bent and missing a plastic retainer. Seatbelt tensioner "plastic stays" and some integrated pieces were also broken. I realized that they were too far gone and basically junk seats requiring either new bases or severe welding and pulling apart and reconditioning by fabricating some parts, possibly the bars, and the hinge bracket.

I mailed Iveta, upset. He basically told me it was my fault, it's been too long, and didn't really believe my story in short. Says I could have been doing anything to these seats during my ownership, which is true. I could be playing all around with them. All I have is my word to the contrary.

He said he may be able to get me bases, and I pay shipping. I said no thanks to that, after he was angry, blaming me, and aggressive.

I am cutting my losses and I suggest all future interested buyers do not do business with Overdrive/Iveta. If you choose to do business with him, he may send you parts that work. If he sends you junk, kiss your money goodbye and expect him to get angry.

I take back my previous kind words and instead now simply say: Caveat emptor. Buyer beware. Best to let him keep his stuff in Europe and avoid a loss like I incurred.

Bshi in Chicago.

Bought a b34 oil pan delivered Tucson for $100 ($40 shipping).

Arrived extremely securely packaged. Opened it, and it was filthy, but I didn't ask for a cleaned oilpan. After preliminary cleaning, I noticed very fine cracks on the tranny end. Also noticed dents on the front 'radiator'. Cleaned more and spotted a spiderweb of cracks from the ass end down to the sides and back. Cleaned that end spotless, turned upside down and put about a quart of chainsaw gas (has oil) and tilted to that end and left overnight. Next morning: oil slick underneath: it leaks.

Contacted Bshi, offerred pics and requested refund. I offerred to pay half of his shipping costs. He was gracious, requested pics. Afterwards, he immediately refunded me $83 with a sincere apology.

Good communication, and I think a good guy. My first deal with him but I would do it again.

I'll just make sure to ask him to clean off enough grunge to see any cracks! :)

Seats were not clear where for 219days, it is unclear how much, it is not clear how stored. Clever! I Always ready to cooperate and help, if required. I have normal Feedback as I know and trying to do not sell trash. Even in your case that before sending all seats come from cars with inspection and it works fully functional.

When Spencer Meiers bought seats, he left POSITIVE Feedback in thread : http://www.mye28.com/viewtopic.php?f=4& ... 2#p1356392

Image

And after I repeat 219days after purchase, the situation has changed in the not good side ...

In this case, because impudent and boorish conduct of the seller, so do not want to, but even though it is in a personal letter.

In the data case, such as you do not need to be. This will be a lesson to you. Even so I have matched I can try to find the whole frame with shipping from your side, but you declined. I do not think that I should return the money to you for a product that was purchased more than six months ago, and it is not clear where and how much.

Before you say something and do, you need to watch your language and answer be responsible for your actions. Conversations with you are finished.
