Dave, are those wheels 15's or 16's?

Also what I did to my other car(s): Ignored them and drove my E28 again for once.

Found more water in the left rear carpet, replaced the front left window regulator.
Stupidest design ever, the whole e34 door setup from card to outer skin and everything in between.
Can't wait to tackle the nightmare that is double sunroofs.

750 numero uno has a fuel leak.

Lines on top of the tank to the pump.

Looks like a BLAST to replace them.

Just the routing. I was hoping there was a hard pipe to the top of the tank and I wouldn't have to get under the car....but appears it's just fuel hose all the way down to the filters and return pipe....so I will have to get under the car to replace them.

Approaching 210K on the ZHP, with almost 115K on the PSS10's from 2010, it was time for a change. Saturday I installed H&R springs and Billie Sports along with new spring pads and rear shock mounts (bless the Rogue guys for making those inverted shock mounts) and hardware. The car sits a bit higher, rides a bit softer, leans a little more, but is overall every bit as much fun and quite a bit quieter than before.

Edit - picture of springs - Billie PSS10 springs and adjuster, then stock Sport/ZHP, then H&R

We also swapped out the wife's Odyssey for a new one. Though they look almost the same on the outside, they've made a number of minor improvements. With the kids now in the 10-15 year range, this is likely the last minivan we'll ever buy - we get to downsize (or fun-size) 'her' car next time.

I rescued ye old e30 wagon from work. It was inop with a no start issue for the last month. It warmed up so I checked it out again. Well it started so I started wiggling stuff and got it to consistently die by wiggling the main relay and wires. I pushed them all together really good and couldn't get it to die again, so I drove it home in the rain 25 miles. The brake pads were well stuck and broke free with a loud THUNK. I guess the salt, snow and blowing dirt seized it up pretty well.

More plastic cooling parts are leaking. This is probably the end of it's current drivetrain. Next year I'll get going on this project as an M30 powered track car.

Worked on the touring's headlights. They're pretty bad even though I've buffed them a few times. I wasn't making much progress until I broke out the old Dupont #7 rubbing compound. I didn't even get them to presentable but it still made all the difference in the world. Of course it felt like I was rubbing sand on there but it really made a difference. I'll sand them down and clearcoat them in the sping, but for now it made a difference.

The M30B35 is probably my favorite 'normal' engine of all time. The S38 being the performance favorite.

Are you into custom mount territory? Would one from a 635 make more sense because of the different mounting points? I really don't know crap about the E30, just brainstorming.

I put in a reman driveshaft in the e23. I was interrupted by our anniversary dinner, so I had to put the exhaust on today in the rain. Joy.

Took it for a spin and it's so smoooth now. A real pleasure to drive.

My compiments to Driveshaft Specialist in TX for a good product and great service. Ordered on Monday, received on Thursday! They actually had one in stock.

I hit 280,000 miles in the E34. I guess that's something. I can't stand driving it on roads anymore.

The e32 is getting parted.

I'm done with this stupid thing.

Leak down test on the engine....OMG it was AWESOME!

Well under 10% on each cylinder....well except 12. I couldn't get the tester in 12 because I put a plug non-fouler in there. It didn't want to come out with the plug...and the tester didn't want to fit into it.

Besides that the steering is acting funny and the gas door fell off. Also the OBC died.

Time to part.
