Prices may have changed but last year, from Richard at Arrow:
Pricing is $0.30/lb $30.00 minimum. This is for barrel plating of the fasteners. If you have brackets or other parts besides fasteners then that is rack plating and fall under the same pricing but cannot be combined with the fasteners for the lot charge, it is a different process hence the separate charge.

In your-up. Nothing to report except Ivo's Zobelbraun M5 is an inspiration.

In my head, swimmingly.

Dont hate on me, but I'm gonna be using my checkbook-wrench more than originally planned.

Will you at least post pictures of the progress accomplished by the other guy? What will they be doing?

Damn, I need one of them fancy 'checkbook wrenches'! Us poor folk gotta make do with a regular-type wrench!

Got a crack-free dash. I'm still undecided on whether to go naked or covered. If I cover, then this one will go in Vlad since it has some tiny cracks that will cover well. If I go naked, then...

I have been working on my wiring harness. I've decided to use my checkbook wrench and pay a guy on R3V for the harness adapter. The E46 S54 harness is too short to reach into the glovebox. The Z3 M harness is longer, so I sourced a new one of those via Ivo. I goofed around with both today measuring and trying to figure out how I'll mount stuff.

I've decided to go with an E36 terminal block (after seeing joel323's S52 car again this weekend and seeing how sharp it looks). Ordered the parts. This also settles how I'll be running the power cables to the trunk-mounted battery...instead of doing the M5 way, I'll do what Joel did and run them down the passenger's side. Battery will be mounted on the pass side of the trunk ala the M5, but slightly more compactly.

I don't think I mentioned this before, but I have everything regarding the ECU figured out. I even have my custom flash ready to be programmed once I have the right cable and the ECU is in the car. I've also figured out how to make cruise control work using the standard E28 stalk!!!

Here are the M50/M52 mounts I purchased. Nobody seems to know if these will work on an S54 or not, but I can always sell them...
Image

I also ordered a 3-turn M5 steering box.

With that, I think the only major components I don't actually have are:

- Seats
- Diff
- Exhaust

Still a lot of little parts missing, and things that need to be modified...
