Okay guys,
I'm installing my rising rate and trying to figure out how the vacuum lines get run.
I think I have the fuel lines sorted:
fuel pressure line from pump goes to fuel rail.
rail runs through stock fuel pressure regulator
output of fuel pressure regulator goes to "IN" port on BEGI
output of BEGI goes to return line to tank
But the Vacuum lines are what I'm not sure on.
do both ports go to the intake manifold?
does one go to atmospheric with a check valve?
I'm just confused here and can't find any clear answers
Also on the TIAL wastegate
I have two ports on it. The lower one is threaded and I have a matching line that goes to the turbocharger outlet housing so I'm thinking it just goes for a boost signal directly from turbo to the lower side of the wastegate?
Where does the top line on the wastegate connect to? Looks like a barbed fitting

There is an online instruction for this device. I suggest you read through it and fully understand what the device does before continuing.

The same vacuum for the stock FPR can be tee'd for use with the BEGI. Or use another port from the bottom of the intake manifold (There are 3 total).
Your fuel pressure gauge should be placed before the BEGI, but after the stock FPR.

I've read that and I've read about fifty other things that seem to mostly come back to Miata installations. The directionsarent clear to me about which of the two ports get manifold vacuum or if both of them do and I've seen pictures with them setup both ways.
I know that it needs to see a manifold vacuum signal just not sure which port that signal goes to and if I need an atmospheric bleed with a check valve.

Sure, I read your project thread and want you to make sure your pump is up to the task to use this device. You may need to get a 255LPH pump like Walbro GSL392 or a TRE fuel pump with higher flow capacity.

I would say the fuel pressure gauge should go before both regulators on the fuel rail.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to upgrade it ultimately, but for now I'm going to see if what I have will work as the main pump worked fine with the turbo setup on the prior car it was installed on.
The plan is to go with a megasquirt, intercooler, 60lb injectors, and upgrade the fuel pump at that time, but I'm thinking thats a project for another year.
Honestly, I'm so spent out on this car right now i'm getting afraid of what money I may find it needs next. However, I'm so close now I'm just going to see it through to reliable.
Once its running, I'll deadhead the pump and verify its pressure output, I also have a wideband o2 sensor that I will be running to verify its not going lean. I'll be taking great care to keep the motor alive i can assure you.
There's also another bit of monitoring equipment that will be installed but I'm keeping that quiet for now

Good idea.
I did the same, and found my pump could deadhead to 80psi, but under load, it could not flow the required amount to keep up that psi. My pump topped out at about 60-65psi when flowing.
Getting it going is always a good idea, and you work through each individual issue as needed.
