Had a great transatlantic transaction with Felipe, "dogabon".
Excellent communications, prompt shipping with A1 packaging of some NOS yellow fog lamp lenses, that even Canada post couldn't break.
I recommend Felipe without hesitation.
Thank you Felipe.

Clear communications, good packaging, prompt shipping and the goods were as described.
Thank you Andy.
Gentlemen, it has been a pleasure doing business again and I look forward to doing more business with you both in the future.

Not technically a buyer/seller transaction but a shout out to jimoreno who was very helpful with some technical questions I had related to the e38, even went so far as to send me a spare ignition switch for me to swap onto the car to assist with the troubleshooting. Thank you Jimmy!

Had a pleasant and unexpected run-in with a fellow mye28-er during a recent purchase. When I saw the neighborhood littered with e34s an e23 and an e28, I figured something was up. Thanks, kojo96. Would buy again.

Another great experience with Andy. Can't say enough great things about this seller. He has sold me (and the rest of us) many parts and I'm always impressed with his fair prices, packing and how fast he sends things. This time he sold me a B35 intake and packed it incredibly well to prevent damage.
Thanks again Andy (South26)

I had the pleasure of buying a 535 steering wheel from south26 and the transaction was smooth. Fast shipping and the wheel was packaged nicely to avoid damage. I highly recommend if you need parts.

Bought some trim pieces from Ivo/Ovide on ebay, fast shipping, packed like fine china (worth the $39 for shipping), reasonable prices, items as depicted/described, will be doing more business. Very happy.

Bad seller Bstewart1994
His name is Brandon Stewart and he lives in San Diego.
Bought the Dinan strut bar from him. He sent it in two shipments. The end pieces in one package and the center part in another. He did not tape the packaging, that contained the center piece, and the box arrived empty. He is not replying to multiple PMs and emails, even though he has been on here and replied to others. I'm out almost $400 and can't even make a claim as USPS needs a copy of the original shipment receipt, which I have asked him for.
Buyers beware!!

Received, R/R and driving a delightful Getrag 260/6 from South26. Andy came through with a fairly good (better than my previous tranny).
Fedex broke the accompanying arm and not his fault.
Thank you Andy.

Figured I should post this here.
Many users on the E28 Facebook group are reporting they have been scammed by a guy named Fred Ashton selling E28 parts.
He accepts payment then never sends anything, and threatens to keep the money if anyone posts publicly about their issues with him.
More details: https://www.facebook.com/groups/bmwe28/ ... 58?sfns=mo

Bought a few things from Bonsaibacker this week. Fantastic seller and great guy! I'm new here to the e28 crowd, but not to BMW and/or forum communities. I can safely attest that he is an asset to mye28.com. Thanks, Eric!

Bought a minor piece from kojo96. Something I’d needed for a while. He gave me a fair deal and shipped it quickly.

Purchased hollowed out tweeters housings for my e28 from Jay Oliver aka ElGuappo in January. Still haven't received them. He stopped communicating. I haven't heard from him since April despite my attempts. Kissing $40 goodbye.

Alpinass saves the day again. Thanks Paul!
I decided to open Pandora's box (Getrag 280 transmission) because I couldn't live any longer with the incessant whine from the tranny (shifting was fine). Was expecting to replace some bearings, but no, the bearings were all fine – it was the output shaft and counter shaft gears worn down causing all that noise. Parts no longer available, of course.
I contacted Paul and sure enough he had a rebuilt G280 (BimmerWorks) from an M5 that had been running with it for about 6k miles before getting totaled. He also had a rebuilt shift kit.
Got installed this week and it’s quiet and smooth running and the shifts are crisp and clean. I could not be happier!!

South26 delivered a front license plate holder to me; just what I was looking for, great packaging, fair price, quick reaction and shipping. Another satisfied customer.

Got what I consider screwed over by Ovide recently.
Edit: he messaged me 3.5 months after I first asked him about an inflated shipping cost, explaining that the price of the part I ordered was wrong and that the resulting price with the inflated shipping was around what the total actually should have been. I checked the BMW price of the parts and he is correct, so editing this to not be negative.

Purchased a flywheel from LarryM. The package was shipped immediately even though I had goofed and not sent the correct amount of money (PayPal fees). Really happy with the product that arrived and the fact that it arrived so quickly!

Tried for months to help Randomcar. He kept on changing his mind, then asked me to cut a part off of a car. Which I did. Then disappears for over a month and then does not want to buy the part I cut off, but wanted to buy the original part m30b35 oil canister that he had asked about from the beginning . Major pain I would suggest not selling to unless he sends you money before you do anything.
