New turbo book on the market

Post by stuartinmn »

I saw this post over on the Grassroots Motorsports board...there's a new turbocharger book available. The people over there seem to think it's better than the Corky Bell book.

No affiliation, just figured you forced induction guys may want to take a look.

I just got it in the mail from Amazon. NOT IMPRESSED at all. Most material is just reprinted and dated (70s-90s). Pictures are all low quality B&W.

It is a PASS. I am disappointed.

I don't know, Duke, I'm more impressed with this book than Corky's. Yes, pictures are black and white, but there are lots and I'd say much of the info has been updated. I was hoping there'd be more info on tuning, but oh well. If you don't have any turbo books yet, I'd suggest this one. If you already have Corky's, you might not need another.
