Blown/failed/leaking fpr

Post by Nebraska_e28 »

I've been chasing what I suspect to be a fueling issue on the 745. Yesterday I found the vacuum line to the fpr cracked slightly. Gave it a tug & it crumbled to pieces. Though this was a newer line but suspect leaking fpr degraded the rubber. I have a new 3.0 bar fpr on order that I'll install today (afm has been adjusted to this). Have yet to install the rrfpr.

What are the odds me running too much boost caused the fpr to fail vs it failing due to age?

I'm still running the original 82 frp in mine no problems with 18#boost and 3 bar fp, but, I won't be surprised if it dies someday.

Yikes, I'm trying to go fully silicone with vacuum lines.

I have a FPR, confirmed to hold steady at 43psi. Let me know if you want it
