These are the current values in Europe of pure Euro cars. Numbers on page are in pounds sterling, so multiply by 2.1.
A regular e12 commands 5% more than an e28, judging 528i cars so about $22k
Of the Motorsport 5 series, in order of value:
e28 M5 $105k
e12 M535i $50k
e39 M5 $40k
e34 M5 $35k
e28 M535i $28k
e9s are worth a lot, 6 series not so much, not even the M88 M635CSi. This is Europe and after all they are European cars.
Car values in Europe
Re: Car values in Europe
The various BMW numbers seem reasonable to me. Obviously condition is a big aspect of a valuation.
Re: Car values in Europe
Yeah, these prices are for the very best cars. They put down the 2002 Turbo as $200k.tschultz wrote: Jan 26, 2021 12:27 PM The various BMW numbers seem reasonable to me. Obviously condition is a big aspect of a valuation.
and here are two cars from the page, the 1602 and 2002 turbo from 1974 on TV!
BMWs on Drive In TV show
Nostalgia seems to rate highly in Europe. The 1977-82 Corvettes are only worth slightly less than the C4 King of The Hill ZR1. Regardless of the horsepower, it doesn't have the classic C3 look.
Re: Car values in Europe
I'd love @ovide's perspective on this report.
Re: Car values in Europe
Are these values in the UK? If so, I think these are necessarily indicative of values in mainland Europe. The M635CSI cars are worth more in Germany.
Re: Car values in Europe
Yes, it's from a UK magazine, but seems to generally tally with Europe. E12s and e28s are put down as worth more than any W126 Mercedes sedan, worth more than a W116 six cylinder and nearly as much as the regular W116 V8s.marek wrote: Feb 01, 2021 1:03 AM Are these values in the UK?
