As you know, we’ve been devastated by Covid the past year and our beloved “fests” in the West have been cancelled. As of today June 1st, Nevada has fully reopened and that means we are free to have gatherings again!!!
We are preparing for The Biggest Little 5er Fest in Reno! This will be a very informal gathering along the lines of St. Paddy’s Day and 5er West. The main "Show and Shine" event will occur on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Lazy 5 Regional Park in Sparks, NV.
If there is enough demand, I will try to get a hotel to reserve some rooms. If you don’t mind roommates, there are Airbnb rentals for reasonable prices in the Washoe Valley…I can offer advice on the best areas to rent a home.
The featured chassis are the classic 5 series cars from 1972 to 2002, but all BMWs are welcome (including E23s…ahem). There may even be an old Tundra there!!!
So get out your pent up frustrations and meet with your BMW friends again! There will be an announcement very soon to register on Motorsportreg so we can get an accurate head count.
