Vince, I found the farting unicorn banner, let me know if you want to take it to LJI. I'm working all day Friday but I could leave it on my porch or possibly Darin's.
I found my shirt, just call me at the shop and I’ll swing by and grab it from you

That's good because I never release banners to shirtless dudes.

That's still up in the air a bit; both time and place. A few of us need to head to La Jolla Independent to help get ready in the afternoon, so we don't know the timing of all that yet.
I did start thinking of a gathering place for early evening/night and was thinking this place:
Common Theory Public House
https://www.commontheorysd.com/
4805 Convoy Street
San Diego, CA 92111

But nothing is finalized yet.
Okay, so they're booked tonight. Kenny and Ivo are working on an alternate.

Was he wearing pants though?

Here's a couple of pics...hopefully someone will chime in with more.

The third pic is my old 733i now owned by Brett Newman who just bought it from Ricky (535). Looks a little rough but still one of the strongest M30b34s I know (Euro with Megasquirt, port and polished head with oversized valves). The last two pictures I took at the hotel, not often you see a Renault SUV anywhere in America.

Thanks to all who came for the event. Much appreciated. It was definitely a different vibe this year from previous, but a nice time just the same and much needed for sure. I almost didn't know how to attend a car event anymore. Thank you so much to Carl, JP and Gerry over at La Jolla Independent for pulling out all the stops for us for a great time after the time at the bay. Amazingly we weren't kicked out of there this year and we had a good turn out.

I'm sorry I took exactly zero photos.

Here are some of my pics. Enjoy! Thanks so much to Carl, JP, and Jerry (Jerry, you cooked up an amazing set of tri-tips!) for hosting us at La Jolla Independent BMW. What I love about this event is the enthusiasm of all the owners, no matter the condition and vehicle. We just all love vintage BMWs and share the passion!

I don't see the pics from Kenny, just a big Negative SIGN... So sad. :(

I will try to get some pics loaded, although I didn't take a whole lot this time around for some reason. It was just good to see everyone's cars/faces and get the hell out of the house after being cooped up the past couple of years. I second or third the BIG THANK YOU to Mr. Nelson and Co. for hosting the event afterwards. Tri-tip and accoutrements were suberb! Thank you again!

Kenny had/is having phone issues since last weekend.

(Give him a break, he's old, he flusters easily ;) )

Maybe once I get off Jury Duty I will upload mine. I took one with my cell phone, the rest are on the DSLR:

Here's some pics you weren't waiting to see! (Hopefully I did this right!)
Thanks to all who traveled near and far to bring their wonderful E-ticket rides to sunny San Diego! I was too busy gawking and not taking pictures like I usually do! Again a big SHOUT OUT to Carl and BBQ crew at La Jolla Indy! Thank you, thank you, thank you for hosting the post Mission Bay showing. An enjoyable event as always, and one that's been sorely missed. Can't wait 'till next year!
