My Alpina B7 Turbo

Post by Turbobrook »

Hello all,

I’m putting together a1980 e12 Alpina B7 Turbo and my friend Adam suggested you e28ers were a hospitable bunch that would appreciate this car. It’s been awhile since I’ve been on this e28 site. Sold my 1985 e28 Alpina B7 in 2010 so I’ve been out of the mix for some time. Anyway, always loved the Alpina cars and would like to share some of the features unique to this car and its connection to the e28 as I rebuild it. Hope you will appreciate the details Alpina put into the B7 variant. At the time, it was the “World’s Fastest Sedan.”

Now can someone tell me how to download a few photos? That’s the best way to display the project.

Hi Mitch! Excited to see progress on the E12 B7. There's a thread about how to post photos on here, but I can't seem to find it. You'd have to use an external photo hosting site like flickr (the most widely-recommended) or Google Photos. Photobucket and other services they own are no good. flickr will give you the whole line of BBcode to copy and paste into your posts here, so it should be pretty user-friendly from a computer web browser (the mobile site and app are not particularly good for this).

See my sig for a link to a horrible thread on posting photos.

I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing this project! Thanks for sharing in advance.

Hi Mitch, I talked with you at CMW earlier this week. It's great to see you on this board and confident you'll get tons of love on your project. Get some photos up and hope to see your car in person soon. Maybe the next CMW BBQ

Keep in touch.

Phil.
