Serial killer on the loose on forum :(
Every time someone asks about the item, goes back and forth, and is ready to buy, and asks for payment info, they LITERALLY are murdered.
Why is this????

Because old BMW's are cheap to buy on marketplace or whatever, then they realize good parts are not cheap?

Thanos literally snaps them out of existence.

I know Matt better than most and can usually figure out what he's talking about, but I'm puzzled this time. Flaky buyers maybe that are all set to go then disappear?

the one i always use is "abducted by aliens", but i sympathize to your plight. it's why i stopped selling parts. not worth the trouble anymore. i threw a 40 yard dumpster's worth of old BMW parts away when i moved out of my shop last year. greatest feeling ever.

Re: Serial killer on the loose on forum :(
I make attempts to limit my parts collecting to things that fit cars I own. When I sold the S10, the extra filters I had went with the truck. If any of the other vehicles leave, any parts I have for them go with it. No interest in trying to deal with people who want to kick tires over some stupid piece of trim or a switch or whatever. Not gonna ship or deliver free parts either, but if anyone I knew needed a whatsit that was occupying space in my garage I'm happy to help them put it in their car.

When posting parts for sale on CL, as soon as you do, the "is this item still for sale" scammers are on it.
If not a known member, I wonder if that's the case?/
