Airbox replacement stickers

Post by Machtig »

Are these OEM? has anyone found a source for new ones? Going to refinish my box and would like to replace them.

Well, 10 months later and still no stickers, seems puckar designs went tits up or something; radio silence. Anyone have any other sources for these stickers? I'm not finding anything anywhere short of getting them custom made, but my original ones are trashed following removal :(

Hmm, I ordered in late January and received them, although I remember they took awhile (longer than the 3 weeks it said if I remember). That's less than 10 months ago. I guess I got lucky.

Glad someone got some  You didn't happen to buy more than one set did you? I'm still on the hunt.

That's annoying, especially since they are the only outfit currently making new ones.

FWIW I had removed the old ones in one piece without much trouble at all, painted the airbox, and put them back on. Most of the adhesive even stayed on the sticker side. Maybe not good enough for a concours car, though it was good enough to check that project off the list.

Ordered. For $12 delivered I’ll risk it. Although his feedback thus far is stellar and quality reported as good 👍🏻

Waited almost one year to get mine from Pukar Designs. The finish is almost like gloss paint. Very good quality imo.

Finally got a set from the ebay seller mentioned above. Sticker quality looks very good and I tried to capture the sheen of the old compared with new--it's nearly identical. Unfortunately the graphic for the Roundel is incorrect, should be horizontal lines for the white parts. I'll let the seller know, should be an easy fix to get it perfect. Seller also sent some extras, not sure why or where they go?
