For Sale - 1981 BMW 528i 5-speed

Post by e12er »

Ok, not an e28, but as a late production car (May 1981) it's getting close...

I've owned it for 6-7 years
- local Vancouver BC car from new
- factory 5-speed manual
- body and drivetrain in excellent condition
- starts, stops, doesn't smoke, doesn't leak oil, shifts well through all gears, doesn't overheat
- virtually rust free - no bubbles etc.
- crank windows and sunroof
- mostly original paint (one fender may have been repainted at some point)
- some old car issues - front seats are getting worn (but comes with matching brand new NOS BMW fabric to replace the front seats), hazard lights don't work, radio on the way out, TMU - unknown true mileage - I bought it with 100,000kms on the odo, but it was turning slowly and I foolishly tried to repair it. There is new speedo/odo in there now but it comes with the original
- lots of minor sorting - new rear taillights, rad re-cored etc....
- can come with a ton of spares - included in the price.
- located near the Canada-USA border near Blaine WA on I-5.

Here is my CL ad:

You can also find it on eBay and FB...

I've owned 3 e12s, 1 e28 and a bevy of other BMWs - but too many cars and not enough time with smaller kids means I'm not doing much with her besides driving and maintaining.

Asking price is $10,500 CDN which works out to about $7700 USD.

Thanks!
