The Biggest Little Vintage Fest 2024 - September 28, 2024 - REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

Post by Kenny Blankenship »

The Biggest Little 5er Fest is now The Biggest Little Vintage Fest! The fourth annual event is happening Saturday, September 28, 2024 with a Friday night dinner event the day before! More information will be forthcoming very soon!!!

UPDATE as of July 18 - Registration is now open! Here is a link to the website!

http://msreg.com/biggestlittlevintagefest

The fourth annual Biggest Little 5er Fest is now the Biggest Little Vintage Fest! For those not familiar with our event, this will be a very informal gathering of classic BMWs with an emphasis on BMWs built before 2003. All BMWs are welcome, we encourage the classics 20+ years old and older! You do NOT need a show car to attend! There will be a dinner on Friday night September 27 with the main event People’s Choice Show and Shine contest on Saturday, September 28, 2024. The venue will be the Sunset Pavilion at Lazy 5 Regional Park in Sparks, NV. A BMW enthusiast and recent Reno transplant will be opening up his home for the Friday night dinner.

Cool! I'll be there! Even better is it's not at the same time as the car show in the little tiny burg I live in this year. And I will have a different car this year. Not e28, but still a 5er.

Reno, Nevada. I think he should call it Reno Fest or Eric Fest, but not so far. Likely a little far given you sig location, but you're more than welcome, come on over!

I rented a house for the first two events and it was a great success and value in terms of lodging, proximity to the event and for vehicle safety. I will be doing it again this year and just reserved the house that is so close to the venue, you could almost walk to it.

It has 4 bedrooms and 6 beds so PM if you're interested and I can share the details; there are a few people already interested.

I still have one bedroom (with two beds) available if anyone is interested. The cost will be a lot less than a hotel for two nights.
PM me if interested.

Asheville? I thought you made it to TedFest in Ontario? Isn't that a lot further?

Wonders never cease, I registered before the last minute. Booked a room too, Thursday is cheap, but F/S are expensive, must be something going on in town that weekend.

Eric, I sent you an email a couple of weeks ago, please respond. Went to the notification address, let me know if I need to use a different one.

TedFest is no longer, unfortunately...

Only one month left to register! Registering helps our organizers with ordering food and guarantees we will have the correct t-shirt size. A limited number of t-shirts will be available at the event! Thank you!

Please register by September 9 in order to guarantee your t-shirt size. We need a two week lead time for the vendor to make the shirts. A limited number will be available at the event. Last day to register is September 20.

Kind of late I know, but Mye28 being down for the past week was an issue.

Anyway, I have my heater valve, silicone diaphragm replacement with me if someone wants to give it a try. This is just the solenoid and the diaphragm, not the assembly, but the part that most often fails in my experience. It comes with a price, you've got to assure me you will put it in and test it. But aside from that part it's got a money back guaranty, free and you will get that exact amount back if it fails.

I had someone willing to test it 10 years ago, they never did, but did return it to me relatively recently.

Anyway, hit me up if you're interested, I'll be here. Or there, or which ever it is, but I'm in Reno.
