Badge engineered to be an M535i car with those special Metric wheels.
Has a few options, headlight adjusters that probably don't work, sunroof. Looks good, needs shifter bushings and they want to open discussions are 35k.
What is it worth...CL listed as an M535i but shows on Real as just an i

It is a euro car, but it doesn't even have the M535i tupperware. Says Recaro seats but they sure look like BMW sport seats to me. For sale in Calif, but no cat and no mention of a smog certificate or a BAR sticker, which means in practical terms it can't be registered in Calif. But it does have those great TRX tires...
I'm guessing someone bought or brought it down from Wa and found out they couldn't register it in Calif.

interesting car, but definitely not an M535i. DC31 in the VIN = not an M535i

It's been for sale for a long time now. Seller is a d*#k, I pointed out the VIN and that it was a euro 535i and not a M535, he went off like a roman candle...

You could kinda tell that would be his response to someone that knows how to figure out what he has. He insists on talking to knowledgeable folks about the true value.
I will negotiate with educated/collector buyers who understand the cars place in sport sedan history. Serious collectors understand the costs to bring a car to this level.
Well it would be one thing if he was educated but since he isn't...I guess this one is caveat emptor.
