Here to help, if I can do so in anyway. I know there are others, I also have experience in this space.

Would it be possible for you and I to get on call to discuss this?
You're welcome.

Yes, but it would be a waste of time for both of us. Not to be testy about it, but as I've already said, I have no legal or technical authority here. I will PM you for your email to pass along to Catalyst/Jeremy.

Hoping this all gets resolved and back on track before the domain registry expires.

If it doesn’t get renewed, all services cease to function.

@Jeremy, I know you and @CEK have communicated about fixing the certificate issue with this forum.
He's done it previously with another car enthusiast site.

He has the expertise, and can be trusted.

So, before this thing crashes and burns and is declared a total loss, accept his offer to fix it.

I second this post by 1st 5er. I know CEK personally, who has been a member here for as long as myself, and owns a great deal of fine examples of E28s. His name is synonymous with top level product delivery (both corporate and enthusiasts like Holy Grail Labs fuse box solution), and I believe he can be 100% trusted with securing and preserving mye28.com for many more decades.

Sorry to be a dick, but, well... what the fuck do you expect ME to do? Ask CEK and/or Jeremy.

Hey all. I decided to check back in today after years of silence, and see this thread.

I'm also willing to offer my assistance if necessary.

As you may recall, i did the content migration from the old site to this one.

BTW, the modern way to do SSL cert renewal is LetsEncrypt, which is free and 100% automated.

Matt? Wow, a blast from the past. Not that I have anything to do with running Mye28 so I can neither accept or reject it, but thanks for the offer.

This (and a bunch of other technical issues) have all now been addressed!

You are now using a completely upgraded board on completely modern and sustainable technology.

Yay!

Oh, and I changed my handle from "cek" to "tig". Get used to it.

A simple or even HUGE "Thank you" does not suffice. You have accomplished a great and wondrous thing, sir.

The information contained within these pages and posts is far too valuable to allow it to go quietly into the dark night. Thank you for your efforts.

Now that things have been updated here, I was having trouble accessing the site the last couple days. I cleared the cookies on my computer and all is well again - just a tip, if anyone else is having issues.

To whoever did the work, thanks for your efforts. :)
