Sounds good to me...if ya put pistons in...what ya think ya get...with a standalone?russc wrote:5-6psi on a S38 with stock ECU will create ~350-375whp. With any tuning will be near 400whp!Duke M535ti wrote:Then why do it?rundatrack wrote:

Well, the skys the limit, or the bottom end. The S38 with anything lower than 9:1 and standalone with proper turbo and I/C will make 500whp+ easy. Its just a matter of how long the engine will hold together.rundatrack wrote:Sounds good to me...if ya put pistons in...what ya think ya get...with a standalone?russc wrote:5-6psi on a S38 with stock ECU will create ~350-375whp. The Dinan systems with their piggybacks and CR lowering make 450-475whp. Dinan limits the S38 hp by using a undersized turbo. Its the same size/config as the one on my car.

With that setup, 425-500whp.rundatrack wrote:so with the right pistons...lets say 9:1 compression...
Anything that needs to be done to the head....or better yet with a stock head....
With a gt35 or something like that what type of hp ya talking..or that turbo is too small as well...
Just asking...
