Pat P just got himself a Hartge H5S..............look out...
Most of you should remember Pat P. He is the guy who built the monster E34 "Big Red". He hangs out on Bimmerforums and is now quite active on the FI board again.
Well, he has been perusing the purchase for a Hartge H5S for 12 years and finally got it last week. We are in for yet another monster FI M30/M106 build. Will be fun to watch. I love watching others spend stupid amounts of money on their E28s.

It's Hartge in nameplate only. Motor was replaced with a 745i unit at some point apparently. There's a serious amount of elbow grease that needs to go into that car to make it nice!!
Not that I think Pat can't do it, the car's just a bit of a basket case right now. I'd venture to say it needs even more work than a certain very nice e28 who's journey almost ended in a German junkyard.

everything is in the back seat and trunk.....yes the only thing missing is the motor...but the original tranny and right down to the hartge stamped oil cooler is there and in place .....Jeremy wrote:It's Hartge in nameplate only.
