Stolen from Bimmerforums.......................great video.

Don't have TCD beat though.........if Todd was into boosting a GT, would have bettered these guys already.

If he does FI his S38, I bet he can come close to 1000 HP. The Celica DOHC straight 6 can does it with 3.2 L. I am sure the BMW 3.4 is up to at least that.

Nice little engine, now for something more up my street:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... s+motor+m3
this car acts more like a funny car class dragster, completely insaine!!
If i won the lottery i would buy a m535 chassis, a bmw m5 v10, biturbo it to create the fastest bmw on the planet, ofcourse with the aid of vs motor. how about 1800 hp,laugh: yeah right, would probably give my cars every part they need plus a bare metal respray.

Yeah Vidar is putting out some sheer rediculous cars. He and Dahlback with the Audi and VWs.Also another guy Ticco has a nice e30 318is with a 500hp or so engine that runs 11.28 in the 1/4 mile reading up on his M20b25 custom setup with a gt37.

ticco has an e30 with a m3 motor and makes something insane like 800 hp. the previous setup was pretty cool. it has a m20b25 with the m52b28 crank and rods so the displacement was increased and he boosted the shit out of thta thing.

Yeah they are all over in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Germany though so most of the written info on most peoples sites are only in their native langauge. Search Google Videos if you don't believe me or I have some vids of them over on my myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/theedgeproductions

Yea,
Those small displacement turbo monsters are easier to build in Europe where there is essencially no smog laws.

Its not that it cant pass, it just that here you have to prove in ~5 different scenarios and driving conditions it will still pass, and then approve all the equipment through testing.

Plus, there is a visual, so if there is no EO#, and you have a turbo bolted on, you wont pass.

Since we are sharing fun turbo builds, this one is my current favorite. I think it sounds amazing. This video re-ignited my NSX passion to the point where I had to have one again (it arrived yesterday).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_qBo91HIcE

This particular car put down 553 rwhp (on 91 octane pump gas) on a Mustang Dyno AFTER 2 hours of durability testing that had the exhaust glowing white hot.

Dyno and additional video/info here:
