Wastegate connection

Is there is a preferred place to pick off the control pressure line for the wastegate? Anywhere after the tubo outlet?

Everything I have is behind the throttle body. Though I'm sure it would work anywhere after the turbo since the wastegate only needs to see boost, not vacuum... and you can get that on either side of the TB.
