What, the whole thread is gone. Gees, this crap. Whos running this thing. Was it so bad it needed to get deleted? Did I miss somthing right at the end? I didn't save any of the dyno charts yet.

This is starting to turn into what the roach fly was. Any hint of some contraversy, and the threads history! :bs:

The fact of the matter is that the original poster asked to have the thread removed, and had already edited all of his posts to remove any technical information. This was not a moderator decision. Since the board software does not allow the original poster to delete his own thread, it is our rule to comply with the original poster's intentions.

With that out the way, I question why people are so fucking quick to compare the mods here to the roadfly crew. It's really comparing apples and oranges, and it is not appreciated. This site would have gone the way of the Do Do bird if we weren't here.

You want to see censorship? Go to a forum for american iron like http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/index.php where there's 400,000 users and 45 or more forums. You can't fart without having a mod delete or edit your post. You need to put things into perspective before you bite the hand that feeds you.

Well,
At least I got an explanation. It really doesn't matter whether this site goes exstinct or not. I just don't like to see any threads deleted, right or wrong.

Crap! I check out for a couple weeks and miss all the fun. Until I looked at the older threads I was afraid someone had started fucking with Ken again and all the LH series got deleted.

Whew!

If you want to delete something, why not delete whoever this Chrism person is - he must run a damn fast 40 yard dash; I'll wager if any one of the legions he's pissed off ever catches up to him we won't hear from him for awhile.

Hahahahaha, Chris has been around for much longer than you big boy. He just has been absent lately since he's sold his M524td...

FWIW He was at 5er Fest '05 and didn't cause any fights. ;) I also agree he can be a prick. I showed genuine interest in his car at the Fest and wanted to talk to him about it, but he pretty much just ignored me and walked away. :? Its ok though, my Turbo E28 is much faster than his and Duke's at the moment! :alright:

That's fine - I've got a big mouth too; I try not start flame wars though - I don't know how long he's been around - I remember him from the pre-2000 RFly days and he seemed to be on a much more even keel back then. :dunno:

Russ, there was neither "right" nor "wrong" to it -- Duke asked us to remove it from the forum. We'd do the same for you or anyone else.

e28 withdrawl can make people very cranky. He's been staring at his for a while now. What makes it even more amusing is that he has a completely rebuilt and assembled motor sitting on a stand right next to the damn thing.
