Brand new Mustang GT. From a standing start off a light. First gear was about even, but as soon as I got second I started to pull him. I had a carlength by 60, where I let off. I thought that was pretty awesome for the old super e. Now hopefully I can stop doing this kind of thing before I lose my liscense.

I forgot to mention that I am at about 5500 feet elevation, so the NA cars are missing about twenty percent from sea level. The turbo takes a hit too since the wastegate I'm using is referenced to atmospheric pressure. Its designed to make only a certain amount of boost, a certain pressure ratio. So if I were at sea level it would still be boosting the same amount but the manifold absolute pressure would be higher. It still seems to have the edge up here though.

New Mudstains start around 3500 lbs and end at 4000 lbs for the GT500. It's a crying shame that all the new pony cars, some of which are quite pretty (the Challenger concept, the Camaro convertible concept, etc.) all weight nearly 4k lbs. 300 hp doesn't go quite as far with that kind of heft to push. The e-to-i-turbo probably weighs about 3200.Jeremy wrote:Super eta + i conversion + 9 psi of boost could make 300hp I think. I'm fairly certain the e28 weighs less than a new Mustang, too.Kyle in NO wrote:Sounds like he didn't know how to drive...they have 300 hp.
