Oil feed hardware

Post by Flip_Side_the_Pint »

Hey guys,

I'm piecing together a DIY turbo build for my e28 and I'm wondering where is the best place to get an oil feed from on the m30? Also what pieces do I need?

Edit: Also some pictures would be nice of some of your oil feed setups.

Thanks,
Jess

With the TCD kits, you tap right into the oil filter block. Quick and easy.

ok so where do I drill and tap exactly?
Reason I thought there would be part numbers involved is on my e30 I used some hardware to T-off the stock oil sensor to feed the turbo. I was assuming there was something similar on the m30. Anyone have any pictures of this oil feed setup?

Also would TCD sell just the oil feed lines and fittings?

I would say yes based on my experiences/dealings with them. Just because they sell a full kit doesn't mean they won't help you with parts for yours.

As Mark said give them a call.

thats just what I needed...

Thanks Shawn D.

And it looks like I don't need anything. Everything I need was left over from my e30 or I already had it in my garage....
