I posted my time sheet in another thread. I always run my cars. The BS comes from someone who has only been to the dragstrip once in his entire life. That time he talked tons of shit too and got his ass handed to him by a turbo car driven by TCD.
I wasn't commenting on your backed-up-with-timeslip post, it was more commentary on the squawking back and forth... not being a jackass for once, I guess. :)

I have to shift, but anyway, thanks! That is quite a complement when you are talking about a 1985 E28.

Remember, the reason I started on this path was to be able to kill E60 M5's, not you Todd. I have to have all of the "gadgets" in order to do this. Not sure if it will ever get there though. I will need at least 450 RWHP to better a E60 M5. Time will tell.

I already did this with a 215k mile stock m30b34 and drag radials. (see sig and check R/T)

You should be able to accomplish it easily especially since you are capable of piloting an Apache and Unicycle.

I would hope so. The Apache only has around 3200 shaft HP per engine though. The Uni has only one SWDP (Single Wheel Duke Power).

You wont need 450whp to do this. Remeber, the E60 ///M5 weighs ~4100. Youll only need ~380whp.

The E60 weighs 3960, but whatever. You're right in the big picture. Just a reminder that the E60 weighs less than the E39 ///M.

Thats right, Cool. 8)

My Butt dyno tells me I am around 350 (car is much stronger than when it was over 300 with the sick Hartge head)..............Paul Burke feels that 450 RWHP is attainable with the current system. Will need dyno tuning time though. I will not take the car above 12 psi without dyno power measurements.

Great news on your power

Duke, just curious; did you replace the oxygen sensor when you replaced the head gasket?

No, the cam is a 264. The only thing holding me back is proper dyno tuning. As far as boost level, not willing to go about 18 psi due to HG replacement trauma.

No. It has lived, I hope, through three HG failures. The last time the car was on a dyno I compared my WB O2 reading to the one the dyno owner was using, they were very close.

Duke

Get that car on a dyno and tune it proper. Whats holding you back your tuner doesnt have a dyno or you just going to keep it where it is for the time being and worry about fine tuning later

I think you should get it dyno tuned so that you can rid yourself of all the headaches and worry.

Hope everything is well

Can you sign me up? :D :D I'll even bring my own diaper!!

Seriously, your car made me piss my pants (while sitting in front of my computer) even before Operation Turbo. The fact that it's a resurrected junker turned into an über-beast is beyond cool. Kudos!!

Right now, hell yes. After several weeks of me running the car in the 1/8, no. I and the car will be dialed in by 5er Fest.

I can fly a helicopter and ride three different types of unicycles (rode one 5 miles yesterday), dragging a car will not be that hard..................give me some credit.
Do helicopters fly or do they beat air into submission?
