The TCD S2 is "capable" of far more power. Skeen isn't running the highest boost right now and it looks like theres some room for some tuning improvements. If you look at one of Todd's dyno graphs you'll see that the system made over 400wtq between 3000 and 5000+ rpm.
Thanks for the clarification. What psi and how stressed will the stage 2 setup be at the 400wtq level?

Also, you can do the S2 with MS setup for less than $10k. Yes, you also get much more torque. This is definitely not the limit for the car either. I'm running 13 lbs and plan to run 16-18 after messing with the tuning a bit more.

I believe Todd's red car is still running around at that boost level, which is something like 400whp/440wtq. Drivetrain is probably more stressed than the engine, especially in a street car.

Yeah, so even the tune I've got on the car now makes the same power with loads more torque. Plus, you can't beat the sound of the turbo. ;)

Not arguing the power potential of the S2 kit, but I think an S38B38 at 7k does beat the sound of the turbo!

I knew someone would bite. NA motors just don't sound so great without a pretty open (race-style) exhaust, IMHO.

My hearing is pretty poor but my sense of G-force is pretty good. 8)

LOL, you probably knew I'd be the one to bite, too. Even without a loud exhaust the mechanical thrashing noises of the S38 are pretty special.
