1984 745i :D

It did not bring a single bid at $4000! It's totally ridiculous.

So unless someone buys the car today, it's going to get:

b35 head and intake
S2 hardware
3" exhaust
3000 stall and my good tranny
wet nitrous kit

I am going to use the stock electronics since I have the ability to edit the software. Going to use 37lb injectors and eliminate the fmu.

Cosmetically:

17x8 Style 5s with polished lips
BBS front spoiler
Modern side markers if possible

I cannot believe the car didn't sell.

Do you have the same capability to tune the original Motronic 059 ECUs for the common M30B34s without needing an FMU? If so, that sounds very interesting.

Sorry to see the car didn't sell, but this seems like a rough market at the moment.

What about dropping in some of those lovely pistons ya have there...and get the most power anyone has ever had with your kits

Yes, but you have to tune to a specific boost level so it's not a reasonable way to tune for customer's who want to change their boost level.

So you could simply tune for the maximum boost level. Not that a guy wouldn't want to do that anyway.

Todd, will you be slapping a set of spax on this as well? This should look pretty menacing if you do! ;)

It has a set of RD Springs on it now with almost a 3" drop in front. It's very low already.

If I was in the market for a 7, I probably would have hit you up on that - gotta get another 5er first.

BADASS!!!

In case you don't have the B35 head and intake I'm getting rid of that pair right now...

Good luck I can't wait to see the result!!

FWIW, I think the AC not functioning killed your sale.

Not really surprising

Post by Mike-TurboE24 »

It's a nice car, but I'm not really surprised it did not sell.

1. Ohio, not exactly the mecca for enthusiasts.
2. Deer strike. Very common around here. People are weary of accident cars.
3. A/C and Oil Leak. If they are easy enough to fix, fix. A few hundred $$$ could have turned an extra grand (assuming there were any bids.)
4. Current market. Relates back to #1.

Honestly, I was close. The wife liked the car but practicallity set in, and I did just get the S1.

Todd, Keep it. Drive it. Enjoy it.

+1 on the AC killing the sale. It is summer and AC fix can be very expensive if not a simple gasket fix.

Sorry it did not sell. I picked up a converted 5 speed one prior to yours going on. Otherwise I would have gone for it.

I can't wait to see what you can do to it. You can count me in for performance mods.
