Extremely smooth and satisfying transaction for $170. Fair shipping and packaged well. Plus I paid on Friday and got it on Monday!

While I'm posting this,

I'd like to thank Brian (former parts pimp) and Steve Haygood for many fast and easy transactions. If there's one way I could describe these guys, it would be fast and easy!

Jay in VA has also been very helpful to me. He hasn't charged me for anything!

Thanks to all!

Edit: didn't realize I had forgotten the username of the person I got the stuff from

Nicks88s - Bought my royal blue 535is from Nick, and it was the easiest used car transaction I've experienced. He's up front, no nonsense, and very helpful (took a day off to meet me at the airport to conclude the sale).

Steve Haygood - Unbelievably fast delivery for a last minute order. I ordered a slew of stuff for a cross country drive and the package arrived a day early. Now that's service.

gray635 - Great transaction. Bought some Borbet type C's from Mike last month, and they were clean and as described. He was flexible with the pick up time and very easy to deal with.

A positive bump for ChefShawn!

Bought some headrests from him, and they were in perfect condition and very fairly priced. I definitely would do business with him again.

A+!

Tim Jones (B9) is a class act.

I purchased a new Momo Alpina 4-spoke steering wheel from him - made the agreement the day before totalling my car. It took me longer than expected to get payment to him, but he understood. The item came exactly as described. I was speechless holding it in my hands - a brand new steering wheel.

I guess it's one of those "you have to be there" situations.

Thanks Tim!

alpinass/Paul LaDue

Post by gray635 »

I recently purchased a used spoiler for my M5 from Paul LaDue - "alpinass" on the Board. The spoiler arrived carefully packaged and in good order. It was a nice piece and as represented by Paul. Pleasant and prompt transaction all around.

In spite of some recent sniping and "unpleasant exchanges" between some folks on the Board, everybody here that I have met and dealt with in our little community has, without exception, been helpful and supportive. Thanks!

Many thanks to Ryan Murphy for the great deal on a set of M Tech II wheels w/ Throwing Star covers. Wheels were in the condition he represented, I believe the tires have more tread than he stated, they seem to be nearly new. He did a great job of packaging the wheels. I would buy from Ryan again in the future.

Thanks to C.J. (The Seeker411) for a great wheel transaction. Very happy with my purchase.

Also a positive note for Kevin Chinn, AKA "The Artisan" for his nice work on the shifter and E-brake boots.

And once again, props for Steve Harwood. You know...

Thanks to Aaron ( sc0rp10n) for the parts I needed. He was VERY willing to work with me with my hetic work schedule and small little mishap that left me stranded 2 hours away ( Blown ball-joint in borrowed truck) . Great communication!
