question about Northeast

Post by thirdworldman »

I'm near Mystic, Ct- I have seen a number of posters here that hail from the "nutmeg state"; any groups in Ct or even the Northeast in general? Will drive some distance (up to several hours) Doug in Ct.

I recently joined up for support for my new-to-me e28. I would love to meet up with others in my area; San Francisco Bay. I have been part of other groups but notice that the e28 community is one of the nicest and helpful groups.

Hey Clint you ever meet a guy named Dave Kosy in the burgh?

I met him online years ago then we hung out when I lived there for a while. I lived out in Blawnox near Moondogs (you could really haul ass on Rte 28??? but gotta be careful) so I was always groving on Cherylann Hawk band, then also Jill West (and the new soul rockers??) was cool as hell too. Was there for 9/11.

Guys, I have a couple of E28 M5s and I know of at least 4 other people here in St. Louis that would be up for something like this! Maybe we should take this off line and discuss some sort of summer gathering?

Damon P., Bill W., Rex K. & Ryan W. are all members here and I'm sure would be down with this!

Anyone else in the St. Louis area that would be interested in something like this, email me and I'll put something together!

Hey guys,
I've thrown up a page on my personal site for the Missouri people and I thought it would be cool to include the E12 owners as well.

If you're interested in being added to this page and would like to be alerted of future gatherings, feel free to send me an email.

I haven't heard of any maryland-virginia-dc group yet but there are tons of these old cars still on the road around here so I wouldn't be surprised if someone came up with something.

Awesome. I know there is a BMW CCA (Badger Bimmers) for Wisconsin/Milwaukee, just haven't seen too many on this site. I'm usually over at Bimmerforums but there is never a lot of E28 talk there. Nice to see there are other people from WI on here. I'm actually down by UWM quite a bit, but I live in Brookfield.

Anyone in Marquette, MI?... Thought not...how about the Upper Peninsula of MI in general?...Anyone...Bueller?...Hmmm...thought not. There goes my grand plan of hosting a 5er Fest here!

For what it's worth, that makes you Badger guys the closest group to me. Brookfield is 303 miles from my doorstep. The time spent to make that drive is debatable.
