Another M535i turns up in Minneapolis

Post by stuartinmn »

Bill in MN sent me an email about another guy here in Minneapolis who owns an M535i (and here I thought I was the coolest guy in town since I had the only one. :D ) I just got hold of the owner and he seems like a good guy, his car is Diamondschwarz like mine and looks like a pretty nice car. He even lives in the same part of town so it's funny we haven't run into each other before. He bought his car a couple years ago off eBay, from someone in Cleveland - anyone recall that auction?

Hopefully he'll stop by here in the near future and introduce himself.

Stuart...I am a good guy and you're now the 2nd coolest guy in town. No really, this is great forum and I'm glad Bill was able to pass along my info to you. I've already learned a ton looking over the forum tonight. Hopefully I'll have an opportunity to contribute.

Here are some pics of the rides for anyone interested. Also, I'll be checking out Vintagefest in Chicago this Sunday with my M535i. Would be great to meet any of you that might be attending.

Cheers!

Oh thanks Tyler, here you go. Don't let the pics fool you. It needs a ton of work.

Hey thanks man. Yeah, the wheel guards....hmmmpf. They came on the car and I haven't really given them much thought. Hopefully they've kept the front and rear quarters in a little better shape over the years. Maybe I should ditch them for some Yosemite Sam "Back Off" flaps.

Hey, nice looking cars.... Those look like some mombo seats in the 2002. I bet some pics of the m535 would look even better with better lighting. very nice, thanks for sharing.
