TCD- What are you up to these days?

Still have the 745i, or did you end up selling it? And hows the m50/m52 stuff coming? And wha'ts this franken 6er?

I'm just bored, and curious, figure you usually have interesting stuff happening.

Not so much interesting stuff going on. Been a pretty boring summer. Sold all the cool cars except for the e36 which has been down since June waiting for production turbo kit parts. Hopefully it'll be running next week.

The Franken 6er is just waiting for a heart. We have an aluminum slug for it in the shop but the car isn;t likely to run until the spring. It's a low priority.

New website will finally launch Oct 1st. E-Commerce catalog and all. e36 turbo kit will be released at the same time.

Beau who has worked at the shop part time for several years (now very part time) has a very interesting project.

That's a 2002 Z06 LS6 with less than 5k miles that is going into a totally stripped e30 M3. Motor is getting a cam and a few bolt ons so it'll make 400rwhp pretty easily. Car should weigh less than 2500lbs.

I cannot wait to drive it in the spring.

So you gave up on the E23 Nitrous project?

I was hoping to see that one develop. O well.

Are you trying to forget the E28, E23, E24 cars todd? :bawl:

I have the nitrous kit and it'll be installed on the e36 soon if time allows.

My business revolves around the e24, e28 and e23 cars so they are kinda hard to ignore but I cannot afford a fleet of cars nor do I have the space to store them all.

So, yes, that's two e36s, an e39 and an e24 drag car in my collection.

thats pretty sweet. Ive never been a fan of the e36, but do enjoy that engine very much. friends got one, and it pulls like a bitch up at 4500. Would love an e34touring with the m50 and your kit on it. The m3 should be very interesting, the guy i work with sold some 3 series and one 6er to some nut in maine or something, that would just throw wild SBCs in them and run in the 9s i think. An m3 losing its s14 is kinda saddening, but oh well. Many of them have lost them to racing already so you might as well..
