Its a long shot, but I'm looking for a pair of Bridgestone Potenza G009 tires in near new condition. Must be 225/50R16 in size and not signifigantly damaged. Cosmetic issues will be considered...
I already have a pair of these that are like new, and I'm sure they aren't the best performance tire out there, but I'd just like to make a full set.Otherwise, I will buy a pair of Kumho SPTs when I go to mount them as they are quite good for about $150...
I hope Kyle will not mind of I post here since a few people will look here, but I am also looking for Bridgestones in that size, but I am after Potenza s03. Also looking for a pair.
haha i just bought a set of the g009 AGAIN yesterday, they are nice tires in the rain and have a high treadwear.
they are 83 bucks a piece at samsclub/costco
i got my fatty 225/60/15 sizes
not selling em but they are a good tire
there is no such thing as bad wheel/tire fitment, just cut off whatever interferes on the car
you need to roll them Anyway as they stick out way too much from the factory.
I took a bilstein rear shock and jacked up the car, lowered it on the floor jack so i pinned the shock between the fender and tire and stood on the shock to pull the fender out about an inch, even the 235/60/15's didnt rub!
you will have about .150" between the strut tubes and tire if you use the same wheel and tire combo without spacers, every manufacturer has a different sizing for sidewall and i dont think it gets any bigger than the Assuro Fulda tires i had, those had about .125" of clearance.

Yeah I understand that I could do modifications, but my question is if I put 225/60/15 tires on my e34 weaves, will they rub, cause I don't want to have to deal with that shit.

225/60s generally rub in one spot on the left side. You can do the old baseball bat trick or go with a different tire. Some tires do wierd things in the same size. I ran 205/60/15s on the E34 wheels on my car.

just what I'm looking for, since the e28 is a beater, I don't feel like modifying the fenders. Looks like 205 it is.
Try this place. I had a great experience with them when I was looking for a new or lightly used set of Bridgestone S03's in a 225/50/16 (after they were discontinued by TireRack and not available anywhere else).
