I just acquired a E23 745i, it has a factory OEM Glass moon roof panel.

your correct....you can buy the glass roof for under $300 brand new through those guys

paying any more than that is foolish...

Yes, but he's likely including all of the near impossible-to-find NLA pieces along with it to complete the conversion...The $275 glass panel is by FAR not all that is needed to do the swap.

Kyle's right. With this you can get (and I would ask for): Glass panel (note that is ALL you get from BMW or Max if you order the panel) , sealing edge strips installed already on the glass, panel cable covers (NLA), plastic trim for underside of the glass (NLA), and the BMW sliding privacy screen covered in matching headliner material (NLA).

Some of the NLA items can be worked around or fabricated, but having it all in one place ready to go is part of why these kits are worth WAY more than the Saab pieces.

$475 is in no way unreasonable if it includes everything listed above in good condition.
