WTB halfshafts/axles
Both rear with good boots. Semi urgently. Thanks.
Re: WTB halfshafts/axles
Depending on how desperate you are, I have a couple that I won't be using. Unfortunately, each has a boot that is compromised, but supposedly they are otherwise 'good'. Bit of a story there. Anyway, since I'll be passing through Vegas, I could even drop them somewhere for you for a nominal fee ... say $20.landspeed wrote:Both rear with good boots. Semi urgently. Thanks.

CV boots aren't too hard to renew. I recently did the halfshafts on the e34 535, after doing the front boots on the x5. Get the crimp tool & a couple extra straps(start with the small inner straps as the big outer straps are hard to find seperately). I used Redline CV grease to repack the CV joints. It seemed to be a good project as there are new rubber boots & new grease in there. The hard parts of the CV joints are very sturdy. The balls weren't scored at all & the cages seemed tight. New halfshafts are varly expensive.
